Tai chi (Taiji) is a Chinese martial art that is primarily known in North America for its health benefits, namely in the Yang Style of Tai Chi Chuan. Tai Chi originated as a self-defence method that is still seen in both the Wu and Chen Styles of Tai Chi Chuan while still providing its health benefits. Tai chi emphasizes relaxation and flowing movements. Lessons are taught in Yang, Wu and Chen family styles. Classes are taught by either Sifu Chan, Sifu Lee, Sifu Leung, or Sifu Liu. Mississauga Tai Chi classes are taught by Shifu Richard Luo.


The Class Curriculum consists of the following:

Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan Classes:

  • Martial Art Fundamentals
  • Wu’s Tai Chi Form
  • Tai Chi Push Hands
  • Tai Chi Practical Application
  • Foot Step Movement

Chen Style Tai Chi Chuan Classes:

  • Martial Art Fundamentals
  • Chen’s Tai Chi Form
  • Tai Chi Push Hands
  • Tai Chi Practical Application
